'Smoking Regulations in Hotel Establishments in Dubai'
As of January 15, 2008, Dubai Municipality has implemented new regulations covering smoking in hotels and hotel apartments. The new regulations are part of Dubai Municipality's ongoing overall program to protect public health and prevent damage to the health of non-smokers.
All our hotel rooms and apartments are non-smoking, however, smoking is allowed on balconies & terraces and certain other areas, which are clearly marked. There will be a fine of AED 2,000 for smoking in a non-smoking room, apartment or area. Other non-smoking areas include, but are not limited to: Reception, lobby & public areas, all corridors and meeting rooms.
